LPL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Each year the Rhode Island PTA awards scholarships to high school students from PTSA High Schools. The LPL Scholarship is supported by contributions from local PTA units, councils and friends of PTA. It is named for Lucille Putnam Leonard, a past State and only National PTA President from Rhode Island, to honor her memory for distinguished service to the PTA. Be on the lookout for Rhode Island PTA LPL Scholarship Applications soon. There will be a mailing and applications will also be available in your High School Guidance office.

ONLY APPLICATIONS FROM MEMBERS OF A LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL PTSA WILL BE CONSIDERED.

ALL COMPLETED applications must be sent to the RI State PTA Office and postmarked no later than March 31, 2008.
